Scope of Services

Basic Eye Checkup:

This routine exam assesses overall eye health, including visual acuity, refraction, and eye pressure. It's recommended every 1 year for adults and 6 monthly for children.

Advanced Eye Checkup:

This comprehensive examination deals with deeper, including tests for specific conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

SMILE PRO (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) :

Flapless procedure offering minimal discomfort and faster recovery. Suitable for a wider range of prescriptions compared to LASIK.

Why Smile Pro is the Future in Laser Technology

  • Robotic
  • Bladeless
  • Flapless
  • Customised
  • Fastest
  • Less dry eye

PRK(Photo-refractive Keratectomy) :

Reshapes the cornea using a laser to correct vision issues like nearsightedness and farsightedness. This surgery is done with the same kind of excimer laser used for LASIK. PRK is done to reshape the cornea to correct mild to moderate nearsightedness (myopia).

LASIK(Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis):

Laser Assisted in Situ Keratomileusis or LASIK, is most performed refractive surgery in the world.generation laser procedure used for vision correction of nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism.Laser can be customised each patient unique requirement such as WF-optimized, WF-Guided & Topo-Guided. It is a safe & take few seconds only.

Femto-LASIK:

Similar to LASIK but uses a femtosecond laser for flap creation, potentially resulting in greater precision and biomechanical stability. In addition to the increased safety during surgery, Femto-LASIK Flaps have vertical edges which ensure quicker and stronger healing as compared to microkeratome Flaps which have sloping edges.

This translates into a much less risk of displacement of the Flaps in case of inadvertent injury to the eye.

ICL (Implantable Collamer Lens):

Implants a lens behind the iris to correct severe nearsightedness or high astigmatism. Ideal for individuals with thin corneas who are not candidates for LASIK.

RLE/CLE (Refractive Lens Exchange/Clear Lens Extraction):

Similar to cataract surgery but replaces a clear lens with an artificial one for vision correction.

Specialized Clinics:

Cataract Clinic:

Cataract is a clouding of the natural lens inside your eye, similar to looking through a foggy window. This lens helps focus light onto your retina, allowing you to see clearly. As cataracts develop, vision becomes blurry, hazy, and colors may appear faded.

Cataract surgery is a safe and effective outpatient procedure that involves removing the cloudy lens and replacing it with a clear, artificial lens called an intraocular lens (IOL). This surgery can significantly improve your vision and quality of life.

Options:

  • Standard lens implant
  • Prescription glasses may be needed
  • Toric (astigmatism correcting) lens implant
  • Gives good distance vision, reading glasses are still needed
  • Multifocal lens implant
  • Gives a range of vision and reduces the need for glasses at distance and up close
